• The Problem Statement: The client has identified a niche in the protective apparel market in Europe; is in needs a versatile, yet aggressive plan to start operations immediately, as well as assistance with implementing the plan.
  
  
• The Fix: Our consultant examined multiple locations across Europe, evaluating cost structures, workforce qualifications, availability, and cost, language abilities, infrastructure, and regulatory. Based on this evaluation we were able to recommend a location and we proceeded with drafting a plan for the recommended location, analyzed budget requirements, and built a timeline with critical milestones. The next step was to execute strategic sourcing initiatives and secure agreements with key vendors and testing labs, while securing the manufacturing facilities as well. Then - installation of production equipment, worker recruitment and training, QA processes, distribution and logistics. The manufacturing and distribution business was successfully started in eight months, operating with two shifts and flexible outputs.
